This Privacy Policy explains what information the game "Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening" (the "Game") collects, how it is used, and your choices. By playing the Game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Information we collect

Play as a guest — no account, no personal data. If you play without signing in, your game progress is stored locally on your device and, on some platforms, in your platform cloud save (Google Play / Steam). We do not collect personal information from guest players.

If you choose to sign in (optional, used only to save and sync your progress), we use Google Firebase Authentication and may collect:

• Your Google account email address and display name;
• A unique account identifier provided by Google;
• Your game progress and settings, saved to Google Firebase so you can restore them or sync across devices.

Purchases. Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by the platform store (Google Play Billing or Steam). We receive a confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can deliver the item, but we do not collect or store your payment card or billing details — the store handles all payment information.

Technical data. Our service providers (e.g., Google Firebase) may automatically process limited technical information such as a device or installation identifier and basic diagnostic data to operate and secure the service, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How we use information

• To save, restore, and synchronize your game progress;
• To deliver and restore in-app purchases you have made;
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Game.

We do not use your information for advertising, and the Game does not display third-party ads.

3. Third-party services

The Game relies on the following services, which process data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication & cloud save) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Play Billing & Google Play services — policies.google.com/privacy
• Steam (Valve Corporation), on PC — store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the services above (authentication, cloud save, and purchase processing) or where required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

Cloud-saved progress and account data are retained while your account exists. You may request deletion of your account data — including your saved progress associated with your account — by contacting us at the email below. We will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal or store obligations. You can also stop all account data collection at any time by playing as a guest and not signing in.

6. Children's privacy

The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use the security measures provided by Google Firebase and the platform stores to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
